Abstract

4500-P-201Y primer is designed for use on aircraft exterior and/or detail parts (components). This primer exhibits a high degree of Skydrol and corrosion resistance. Users will find it easy to apply in a wide range of environmental conditions over properly prepared substrates.

Mixing Instructions

Mix 4:1:1 by volume Base/Cure/Reducer. Mix base thoroughly on a mechanical shaker prior to use. Next slowly add cure to the base and vigorously stir for 3 minutes. Finally, add the reducer and stir until a smooth homogeneous mixture is achieved (2-3 minutes). Mix only sufficient material to use within a 4-hour period. Always add Cure component to Base component - NEVER THE REVERSE. Never mix coating or individual components from one vendor with that of another vendor.

Spray Viscosity

22 - 28 seconds on #2 Zahn Cup (EZ) / (Signature) Note: users should expect a 5 second increase in visocity over the 4 hour potlife.
